Director of Hardware Operations

Job Summary

Leading the operational foundation for a growing hardware business, the full-time salaried Director of Hardware Operations will manage supply chain, manufacturing, logistics, and product launch readiness in a remote capacity.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day operations for hardware, ensuring cross-functional alignment and operational excellence
• Manage relationships with contract manufacturers and ODMs, focusing on capacity planning and quality management
• Drive supply chain and logistics strategies, including demand planning, inventory management, and risk mitigation

Required qualifications

• 8+ years of experience in tech hardware operations, supply chain, and manufacturing
• Strong understanding of manufacturing, logistics, and fulfillment operations
• Proven ability to manage complex cross-functional initiatives
• Hands-on experience with ODMs, contract manufacturers, and 3PLs
• Experience taking hardware from late-stage prototype through production and lifecycle support
