Director of Health Economics

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Director, Payer Economics & HEOR Strategy.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the development of economic analyses to quantify the impact of the company's model on healthcare costs and outcomes
• Participate in discussions with payers and employers to explain the methodology for calculating savings and ROI
• Design and maintain economic models for payer evaluation and strategic analysis

Required Qualifications

• 7+ years of experience in Health Economics, Medical Economics, Outcomes Research, or Actuarial Analysis
• Experience conducting economic evaluations of healthcare interventions from a payer or employer perspective
• Familiarity with Medicare Advantage economics and how payers evaluate total cost of care
• PhD or Master's in Health Economics, Economics, Public Health, Biostatistics, Actuarial Science, or a related field
• Strong experience with economic modeling and proficiency in SQL and R or Python
