Director of Health Economics

Job Summary

Owning the IntelliSep ROI narrative, the full-time remote Director of Health Economics will manage the development of financial models, engage with hospital leadership, and identify revenue cycle opportunities to drive adoption and expansion across health systems.

Key Responsibilities

• Build and refine the IntelliSep economic model and value narrative, translating clinical outcomes into financial terms for health system executives
• Serve as the primary voice on economic value to hospital C-suite and finance leadership, delivering executive-level business reviews and presentations
• Work with hospital coding and billing teams to identify and pursue revenue cycle opportunities related to sepsis coding and documentation

Required Qualifications

• 8+ years of experience in healthcare economics, market access, or hospital finance, with exposure to coding and reimbursement operations
• Proven ability to build and defend financial models and present them to senior hospital executives
• Strong understanding of hospital reimbursement mechanics, including DRGs and denials processes
• Excellent executive presence and communication skills for engaging with C-suite audiences
• Hands-on experience working with hospital coding and billing teams, alongside strategic leadership capabilities
