Job Summary
Leading the implementation and advancement of psychosocial cancer care initiatives, the full-time Director of Health Equity will oversee program management, drive continuous improvement, and foster strategic partnerships to enhance equitable care outcomes in a remote setting.
Key responsibilities
- Lead the planning and oversight of complex psychosocial oncology programs, ensuring evidence-based approaches are integrated
- Collaborate with internal teams and external stakeholders to expand program reach and support funding efforts for high-impact initiatives
- Strengthen program delivery through effective oversight of reporting, contracts, and budget management while providing leadership to staff and partners
Required qualifications
- Master's degree in social or behavioral sciences, public health, psychology, or a related field
- Minimum of three years of experience in psychosocial program development and management
- Demonstrated ability to lead multiple programs and initiatives simultaneously
- Experience working with diverse communities and understanding health equity principles
- CITI training certificate or completion of CITI training within three months of hire
