Director of Healthcare Economics

Job Summary

To support the financial performance of healthcare initiatives, the full-time remote Director of Healthcare Economics will oversee analytic functions, manage a team of analysts, and drive data-driven insights related to medical cost and utilization trends.

Key responsibilities

• Provides long-range planning and oversight of healthcare economics teams to align with the company's strategic direction
• Develops and analyzes reports on key drivers such as revenue and cost trends to inform business decisions
• Recruits and develops a team of analysts while participating in strategy discussions with the executive team

Required qualifications

• 10+ years of experience in data analytics, actuarial services, or a related field
• 8+ years of experience supervising or managing teams and/or projects
• 3+ years of programming experience in SQL, SAS, Python, or similar languages
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and knowledge of trend analysis
• Demonstrated ability to communicate complex information clearly and concisely
