Director of Host Software Engineering

Job Summary

Leading a high-performance engineering team, the full-time Director of Host Software Engineering will oversee the development of the host software ecosystem for AI and HPC, focusing on Linux kernel drivers, middleware integration, and cross-functional collaboration, all while working remotely.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and grow the host software organization, fostering technical ownership and innovation among engineers
• Define and deliver the host software stack, ensuring alignment with hardware features and customer needs
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize system-level interfaces and performance across multiple release cycles

Required Qualifications

• 8+ years of experience in high-performance systems programming in C/C++ on Linux
• Prior experience in technical leadership or management roles with a proven track record in engineering guidance
• Strong understanding of Linux kernel internals and networking transport protocols
• Hands-on experience with high-performance networking concepts and communication middleware
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills for technical and executive audiences
