Director of Human Resources

Job Summary

To support a growing AI company, the full-time salaried Director of Human Resources will build and manage the HR function from the ground up, providing strategic guidance on organizational effectiveness and talent practices in a remote environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Build the HR function and serve as a trusted advisor to the executive team on workforce planning and employee relations
• Design and implement HR programs, processes, and policies to support a high-performing workplace
• Lead recruiting strategy and execution, ensuring a consistent and compliant hiring experience

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field
• 7+ years of progressive HR experience, preferably as a first or sole HR hire in a high-growth company
• Demonstrated experience advising senior leaders on organizational structure and workforce planning
• Strong understanding of job architecture, compensation philosophy, and multi-state employment law
• Exceptional project management skills and the ability to influence decisions without direct authority
