Director of Illustration Development

Job Summary

To enhance the illustration capabilities at Penn Mutual, the full-time remote Director of Illustration Development will manage the illustration ecosystem, oversee vendor relationships, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement strategic initiatives.

Key responsibilities

• Implement strategic priorities for illustrations and own the illustration ecosystem, including tools, vendors, and outputs
• Oversee and improve illustration capabilities, manage vendor relationships, and ensure timely delivery of outputs
• Collaborate with Product, IT, and Legal teams to translate field needs into scalable solutions and evaluate innovative tools

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in a related field
• 7-10 years of experience in case design or illustration development within an insurance company
• Comprehensive knowledge of life insurance products and illustration systems
• Substantial understanding of Illustration Model Regulation and applicable FINRA requirements
• Preferred licenses include Series 6 and 26 or equivalent professional licenses
