Director of Incident Response

Job Summary

Leading a team of engineers and project managers, the full-time Director of Incident Response will provide operational oversight and strategic leadership to enhance recovery efforts for ransomware attack victims, ensuring efficient engagement and resource management in a remote environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead engagement scoping and collaborate with victims and forensic partners to address incident response requirements
• Manage workload distribution and utilization of team members across multiple incident response engagements
• Drive the development and updating of runbooks for cloud restorations and on-premises applications

Required Qualifications

• At least 10 years of experience in IT infrastructure engineering and leadership
• Recent experience leading engineering teams in complex, high-stakes engagements
• 7+ years of relevant IT infrastructure engineering experience, including endpoint security and Microsoft technologies
• Bachelor's or Associate degree in Information Technology, Business, Operations, or relevant field experience preferred
• Ability to manage engineering teams of up to 24 members and respond to inquiries beyond normal business hours
