Director of Individual Giving

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Director, Individual Giving.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and execute strategies to grow individual giving and manage a portfolio of 50-75 individual donors
• Engage in prospect research to identify and cultivate new mid-level and major donors
• Develop and execute strategic cultivation, solicitation, and stewardship plans for individual donors

Required Qualifications

• 7+ years of fundraising experience with a track record of securing five- and six-figure gifts
• Experience managing a donor portfolio and closing major gifts
• Experience in mission-driven or political fundraising environments
• Familiarity with donor acquisition strategies such as direct mail or digital campaigns
• Knowledge of charter schools, K-12 education, or policy advocacy organizations
