Director of Information Protection

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Director, Information Protection Management.

Key Responsibilities

• Define and execute the roadmap for the Information Protection program, aligning initiatives with business objectives and regulatory requirements
• Oversee the deployment and tuning of Data Loss Prevention (DLP) technologies and manage incident triage and investigation workflows
• Develop executive-level dashboards to demonstrate the effectiveness of the Information Protection program and serve as the primary point of contact for audits

Required Qualifications

• 10+ years of experience in Information Security or Risk Management, with at least 4 years in a leadership role
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business Administration, or a related field, or equivalent experience and certifications
• Deep understanding of Data Loss Prevention (DLP) tools and methodologies related to Data Security, Governance, and Classification
• Strong familiarity with global privacy laws and frameworks such as NIST CSF, ISO 27001, GDPR, and CCPA
