Director of Information Security

Job Summary

To define and execute a global cybersecurity vision, the remote Director of Information Security will manage enterprise-wide security operations with a focus on cloud-native and SaaS platforms, ensuring the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of healthcare data and systems.

Key responsibilities

• Establish and improve security operations capabilities, aligning with business growth and risk maturity
• Oversee compliance with global security standards and manage risk assessments, incident response, and security reviews
• Act as a strategic advisor to executive leadership on cyber risk posture and security investment priorities

Required qualifications

• 10+ years of experience in cybersecurity, with at least 5 years in leadership roles within regulated environments
• Proven success in designing and operating security programs aligned with leading frameworks and regulatory compliance
• Advanced knowledge in core security domains, including incident response, cloud security, and sensitive data protection
• Strong cross-functional collaboration skills, with experience influencing stakeholders across various departments
• Advanced security certifications such as CISSP, CISM, or AWS Certified Security
