Director of Information Security

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Director of Information Security to lead and enhance its security, privacy, and compliance programs.

Key Responsibilities

• Define and execute the security strategy and roadmap across various security domains
• Lead SOC 2 and ISO 27001 readiness, ensuring compliance with relevant data privacy laws
• Manage day-to-day IT operations and vendor relationships for IT/security/privacy services

Required Qualifications

• 7+ years of experience in information security, with at least 3 years in a leadership role
• Hands-on experience with AWS cloud security and Zero Trust principles
• Proven experience with SOC 2 readiness and compliance automation tools
• Practical knowledge of GDPR and US state privacy laws, including DSAR handling
• Operational security experience, including vulnerability management and incident response
