Director of Information Security

Job Summary

Overseeing security operations and compliance initiatives, the full-time salaried Director of Information Security will manage the GRC team, align policies with industry frameworks, and serve as the primary contact for audits and assessments in a remote capacity.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and manage the GRC team to ensure alignment with security and compliance objectives
• Support internal audits and act as the primary interface with external auditors and third-party assessors
• Establish long-term milestones for compliance activities and track progress independently

Required qualifications

• 4-year college degree or related experience
• 5 - 10 years' experience in technology with a security focus
• Experience in network, secure application design, or systems design
• CISSP, CISA, CISM, or similar industry certification preferred
• US Citizen
