Director of Information Security

Job Summary

Leading a multidisciplinary team, the full-time salaried Director of Information Security will own the strategy and multi-year roadmap for information security and IT operations, focusing on product security, cloud security, and governance while working remotely.

Key responsibilities

• Own and evolve the multi-year security and technology strategy, aligning it with business goals and communicating investments to leadership
• Lead, mentor, and grow a team of security and technology operations professionals, setting priorities and fostering an environment of autonomy
• Oversee all key areas of information security, including product and application security, cloud security, and governance, risk, and compliance functions

Required qualifications

• 10+ years of progressive experience in security with direct people management experience
• Proven track record of building or significantly scaling an information security program
• Hands-on experience in product and application security, cloud security (AWS preferred), and security operations
• Fluency with security and risk frameworks such as NIST CSF 2.0 and experience leading internal and external assessments
• Experience supporting a remote-first workforce and managing endpoint technology operations
