Director of Information Security

Job Summary

Owning the security function end-to-end, the full-time remote Director of Information Security will manage vulnerability management, incident response, security architecture, compliance, and third-party risk while leading a security team and representing the security posture to executives and partners.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee the AppSec and vulnerability management program, ensuring accountability for remediation SLAs
• Act as incident commander for security events, coordinating response efforts and conducting post-incident reviews
• Manage the security policy library and lead internal and external audits to maintain compliance and readiness

Required Qualifications

• 7+ years of experience in information security, focusing on application security, incident response, and security architecture
• Proven experience managing vulnerability programs at scale using tools like Snyk
• Direct experience in incident command and coordinating cross-functional security responses
• Demonstrated people management experience, particularly in building security engineering teams
• Working knowledge of cloud security and identity/access management concepts
