Director of Information Security

Job Summary

Responsible for the strategy and management of the Company's information security program and technology operations, the remote Director of Information Security will oversee security operations, ensure compliance with regulatory standards, and manage IT infrastructure and services.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and enhance the enterprise-wide Information Security Program, ensuring alignment with regulatory requirements
• Direct daily security operations, including network security, incident response, and vulnerability management
• Oversee core technology operations and manage the information security budget while establishing training programs for staff

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, business, or a related field; master's degree preferred
• At least 4 years in a senior leadership role within a cloud-centric or SaaS/fintech environment
• A minimum of 8 years of progressive experience in information security and IT operations
• Strong knowledge of SOC 2 compliance and experience with NIST security frameworks
• Relevant certifications such as CISSP, CISM, CISA, or equivalent preferred
