Director of Information Systems Security

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Director of Information Systems Security (ISSO).

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and mentor a team of ISSOs and cybersecurity professionals to enhance security and compliance initiatives
• Oversee risk management processes and ensure compliance with federal and state regulatory standards
• Develop and implement enterprise-wide security policies, procedures, and training programs

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field (Master's preferred)
• 10+ years of experience in information security, IT compliance, or cyber risk management
• 5+ years of leadership experience managing security teams
• Extensive experience with the NIST Risk Management Framework and achieving Authorization to Operate (ATO)
• Active senior security certifications (e.g., CISSP, CISM, GSLC, or CISA)
