Director of Infrastructure Engineering

Job Summary

Leading the core cloud and bare-metal environments, the full-time remote Director of Infrastructure Engineering will manage Site Reliability Engineering, global networking, and distributed storage systems to ensure high availability and performance for large-scale AI workloads.

Key responsibilities

• Own Core Infrastructure & SRE by leading engineering teams and establishing rigorous SRE practices
• Architect HPC & Global Networking to design and optimize ultra-low-latency cluster networks for GPU training workloads
• Drive Storage Engine Innovation by directing the architecture and performance tuning of scalable distributed storage systems

Required qualifications

• 7+ years of engineering leadership experience in software, infrastructure, SRE, or networking teams
• 8+ years of experience building and operating large-scale distributed systems or cloud platforms
• Proven background in ultra-low latency networking, including InfiniBand and RoCE
• Experience with high-performance distributed storage systems and parallel file systems
• Strong foundation in reliability engineering and infrastructure-as-code practices
