Director of Institutional Giving

Job Summary

To support a growing nonprofit, the full-time remote Director of Institutional Giving will lead and evolve the organization's institutional fundraising strategy, focusing on foundation and grant-based revenue growth while building strong pipelines and deepening funder relationships.

Key Responsibilities

• Partner with the VP, Philanthropic Investment to shape and execute institutional giving strategy and revenue growth plans
• Build and maintain a robust pipeline of foundation and institutional funding opportunities aligned with organizational priorities
• Identify, cultivate, solicit, and steward institutional funders, developing strategic engagement plans and compelling grant proposals

Required Qualifications

• 5-8+ years of experience in institutional fundraising, foundation relations, or grant strategy
• Demonstrated success in securing five- and six-figure grants and developing new funding opportunities
• Strong strategic thinking and revenue planning capabilities
• Exceptional writing and storytelling skills
• Experience using Salesforce or comparable CRM systems preferred
