Job Summary
Seeking a skilled writer and project manager, the full-time Director of Institutional Giving will lead the development and submission of grant proposals and reports while managing the systems that support institutional fundraising in a remote capacity.
Key responsibilities
- Draft, edit, and submit foundation proposals and reports, translating organizational programs and impact into compelling narratives
- Oversee grants management processes, maintaining a comprehensive grants calendar and ensuring timely submission of deliverables
- Supervise the Donor Communications Manager and align donor storytelling across proposals and broader communications
Required qualifications
- 7+ years of experience in fundraising, nonprofit development, or a related field
- Proven success in writing and managing foundation grant proposals and reports ranging from $50,000 to $1,000,000+
- Experience supervising staff and supporting professional growth
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail
- Familiarity with Salesforce or comparable CRM systems preferred
