Director of Instructional Design

Job Summary

To modernize digital learning experiences, the remote Director of Instructional Design will lead the design and development of engaging learning solutions while establishing a Learning Experience Design Center of Excellence on a 6+ month contract basis.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the creation of interactive and measurable digital training using tools like Articulate Storyline 360 and Adobe Captivate
• Develop and implement learning standards, templates, and best practices across the organization
• Utilize AI and emerging technologies to enhance learning outcomes and drive continuous improvement strategies

Required qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in digital learning and instructional design
• Proficiency in modern instructional technologies and tools
• Experience with learning analytics and performance measurement
• Knowledge of accessibility standards and LMS compatibility
• Familiarity with xAPI, cmi5, and JavaScript
