Director of Insurance Operations

Job Summary

Providing strategic and operational leadership for insurance-related revenue cycle functions, the full-time remote Director of Insurance Operations will manage denial management, high-dollar account resolution, and process excellence while collaborating with cross-functional teams to enhance revenue integrity and operational efficiencies.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead enterprise-wide denial prevention and resolution strategies, including root cause analysis and corrective action planning
• Oversee advanced denial analytics and performance reporting to drive actionable insights and manage KPIs
• Establish and enforce standardized workflows aligned with industry best practices in revenue cycle operations

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Healthcare Administration, Business, Finance, or related field
• 8-10+ years of progressive leadership experience in healthcare Revenue Cycle Management
• Deep expertise in insurance operations, denial management, and payer reimbursement processes
• Proven experience managing high-dollar AR and complex accounts
• Demonstrated success leading UAT and system implementations (e.g., Epic, Cerner, Meditech)
