Director of Internal Audit

Job Summary

To advance and refine the internal audit function, the full-time remote Director of Internal Audit will develop and execute the internal audit plan, collaborate with senior management, and provide advisory services on risk and internal controls.

Key responsibilities:

• Assist in shaping and executing the internal audit strategic roadmap alongside the VP, Internal Audit & Enterprise Risks
• Lead the development and execution of the annual risk-based internal audit plan and related reports
• Collaborate with corporate risk and control functions to ensure coordinated activities and leverage resources

Required qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in business or related fields
• 10+ years of experience in internal audit or a similar role, preferably in Big4 or public companies
• 4+ years of relevant industry experience in healthcare, insurance, or technology
• 4+ years of experience managing teams of internal resources or consultants
• Relevant certifications such as CIA, CPA, CISA, or equivalent are preferred
