Director of Internal IT

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Director of IT to lead and scale internal technology operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Own and evolve the internal IT strategy, including systems management, access control, cybersecurity, and hardware procurement
• Mentor and support direct reports while contributing to daily IT operations
• Lead cross-functional efforts to improve system performance, security, and employee experience

Required Qualifications

• 10+ years of progressive experience in IT roles, with at least 5 years in a management position
• Proven ability to lead strategically and execute tactically
• Experience in fast-paced, high-growth environments, preferably in SaaS or tech-forward companies
• Strong knowledge of cloud-based systems, security protocols, and help desk operations
• Familiarity with compliance frameworks such as SOC 2 and ISO 27001
