Director of International Trade

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Director, International Trade to lead international trade and trade credit operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage and coordinate the movement of goods across international borders, ensuring compliance with regulations
• Lead deal negotiations and drafting to secure optimal terms and safeguard organizational interests
• Analyze trade data and trends to inform strategic decisions and create reports for senior management

Required Qualifications

• Proven expertise in international trade and import/export operations
• At least 10 years of relevant experience with significant leadership responsibilities
• A degree in international trade, supply chain, procurement, finance, trade laws, or a related field
• Experience in structuring and negotiating complex trade deals
• Preferably, experience in the solar industry and transactions in Africa and India
