Director of Investor Relations

Job Summary

Owning the day-to-day operations of the Investor Relations function, the full-time remote Director of Investor Relations will transform business results into compelling investor communications and engage with both institutional and retail audiences.

Key responsibilities

• Manage the end-to-end IR operating cadence, including earnings preparation and cross-functional coordination
• Develop and refine the investor narrative, connecting Root's strategy and performance to long-term value creation
• Prepare high-quality investor-facing materials and support engagement with investors and analysts

Required qualifications

• 8-12+ years of experience in investor relations, strategic communications, or related roles
• Experience advising senior executives on external messaging and investor communications
• Proven ability to translate complex business performance into clear market narratives
• Experience engaging with institutional and retail audiences
• Ability to operate effectively in a fast-paced, evolving environment
