Director of IT Architecture

Job Summary

Leading the IT architecture strategy for a dynamic healthcare organization, the full-time Director of IT Architecture will design systems that align with business goals and regulatory requirements while managing a team of IT Network, Cloud, and Systems Architects, all in a remote work environment.

Key responsibilities

• Define and execute a comprehensive IT architecture strategy aligned with business and operational goals
• Oversee the design and implementation of network, cloud, and systems architecture to ensure high performance and security
• Act as the primary liaison between IT architecture teams and leadership, translating business needs into technology strategies

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology, Healthcare Informatics, or a related field
• 10+ years of progressive experience in IT architecture, with at least 5 years in a leadership role within a healthcare organization
• Strong experience with network architecture, including SD-WAN, VPNs, and network security protocols
• Proven expertise in cloud architecture, particularly with AWS and hybrid cloud solutions
• Demonstrated history of implementing modern platform visibility solutions such as DataDog or New Relic
