Director of IT EPMO
Job Summary
To drive enterprise technology delivery and align investments with business objectives, the full-time remote Director of IT EPMO will lead the IT portfolio, manage complex cross-functional projects, and provide governance and oversight across various delivery models.
Key responsibilities
- Define and mature the EPMO operating model in alignment with enterprise and IT strategies
- Establish governance frameworks for Agile and hybrid project execution while managing IT demand and portfolio prioritization
- Oversee execution of complex IT programs and serve as a liaison between C-level executives and technical teams
Required qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in information systems, Computer Science, Business, or a related field preferred
- 10+ years of experience in IT portfolio management and project management in an enterprise setting
- 5+ years of experience leading an IT PMO or EPMO in a regulated environment
- Direct experience in insurance or financial services strongly preferred
- PMP, PgMP, PfMP, SAFe, or equivalent delivery experience preferred
