Director of IT Operations
Job Summary
Leading a team of over 10 global resources, the full-time Director of IT Operations will manage help desk services, infrastructure architecture for healthcare SaaS, and implement AI-enhanced operations while working remotely.
Key responsibilities
- Oversee infrastructure architecture to ensure 99.5%+ uptime and deliver a helpdesk service maintaining a 95% SLA
- Identify and implement AI/ML tools to enhance operational efficiency and manage incident response protocols
- Partner with security teams to ensure compliance with SOC 2, HIPAA, and manage disaster recovery planning
Required qualifications
- 8+ years in IT operations, infrastructure engineering, or site reliability roles
- 5+ years in a leadership role managing technical teams with direct reports
- Proven experience with mission-critical SaaS or healthcare platforms
- Deep expertise in cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, or Azure) and infrastructure-as-code
- Strong understanding of HIPAA compliance and healthcare regulations
