Director of IT Security

Job Summary

Leading the enterprise security program, the full-time remote Director of IT Security will manage governance, risk, compliance, and security operations while developing strategies to protect company assets and support business growth.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and execute the IT security strategy aligned with business objectives and regulatory obligations
• Oversee day-to-day security operations, including incident response, vulnerability management, and security monitoring
• Lead security governance processes and manage third-party security risks to ensure compliance and effective control measures

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in cybersecurity, information technology, computer science, or a related field
• Minimum of 10 years of experience in information security, with at least 3 years in a leadership role
• Proven experience in leading enterprise security programs and incident response initiatives
• Strong knowledge of security domains, including network and cloud security, and compliance frameworks
• Relevant certifications such as CISSP, CISM, or CRISC preferred
