Director of Laboratory Accounts Receivable

Job Summary

Providing strategic and operational leadership, the full-time Director of Laboratory Accounts Receivable will optimize accounts receivable processes, resolve complex reimbursement issues, and enhance collections performance while working remotely.

Key responsibilities

• Serve as the primary revenue cycle liaison to laboratory leadership and specialized service line stakeholders, ensuring timely resolution of outstanding claims
• Develop and present KPI reporting to laboratory leadership, focusing on metrics such as Days in AR and denial trends
• Lead performance improvement initiatives using data analytics to enhance charge capture accuracy and operational efficiency

Required qualifications

• Minimum of 8 years of progressive Revenue Cycle Management experience within healthcare
• At least 5 years of leadership experience managing revenue cycle teams
• A minimum of 3 years of experience in a large pathology laboratory setting
• Significant experience supporting pathology or specialized healthcare service lines
• Proven ability to lead large-scale operational improvement and system implementation projects
