Job Summary
To lead the development and management of a high-performing large deductible workers' compensation practice, the fully remote Director of Large Deductible will oversee program design, underwriting, financial analysis, and regulatory compliance while engaging with senior leadership and clients.
Key responsibilities
- Lead the design and management of large deductible programs, ensuring compliance and performance against profitability benchmarks
- Collaborate with Underwriting to develop pricing models and assess risk structures for large deductible accounts
- Serve as the primary relationship manager for large accounts and brokers, providing training and support to internal teams
Required qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Risk Management, or a related field; or equivalent professional experience
- 7+ years of progressive experience in workers' compensation with exposure to large deductible program management
- Demonstrated knowledge of large deductible product structures and regulatory requirements across multiple jurisdictions
- Strong financial and analytical skills, including experience with loss projection and reserve adequacy models
- Proven ability to take initiative and deliver results independently in a dynamic environment
