Director of Learning Delivery Systems

Job Summary

As the primary solutions architect and technology leader for learning platforms, the full-time remote Director of Learning Delivery Systems will manage the technical strategy and multi-year roadmap for the National Council's learning systems, overseeing the transition from legacy platforms while ensuring scalability, security, and user experience.

Key Responsibilities

• Serve as solutions architect for learning delivery platforms, ensuring they meet scalability, security, and user experience standards
• Lead the design and implementation of a new learning ecosystem, managing the transition from legacy systems while maintaining service continuity
• Manage vendor relationships and oversee technical accountability for software design and delivery

Required Qualifications

• 7+ years of experience in delivering or technically leading enterprise software products or digital platforms
• Demonstrated hands-on experience with software development and systems integration, particularly in cloud-based environments
• Experience designing and leading the build of custom LMS or learning platforms from architecture through deployment
• Deep knowledge of e-learning standards (SCORM, xAPI, LTI) and their implementation in software
• 5+ years of experience leading high-performing teams with direct people management responsibilities
