Director of Learning Design

Job Summary

Leading a team focused on developing high-quality, research-aligned learning resources, the full-time remote Director of Learning Design will manage daily execution of learning experience design work, ensuring alignment with pedagogical standards and collaborating with cross-functional teams to enhance science products.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee the development of instructional artifacts and ensure adherence to quality standards and educational guidelines
• Build strategic partnerships with internal and external stakeholders to inform product design and enhance market differentiation
• Lead a team of Learning Experience Designers, providing mentorship and guidance to foster a culture of excellence and accountability

Required qualifications

• 8+ years of experience in learning experience design or educational content development
• 3+ years of leadership experience in a fast-paced product development environment
• 3+ years of K-12 classroom teaching experience or equivalent applied experience
• Demonstrated ability to use data and analytics to guide design decisions and product iterations
• Deep knowledge of national/state academic standards and the K-12 competitive landscape
