Job Summary

Director of Legal Operations, this full-time role involves leading the AI transformation strategy within the Legal team, focusing on designing and deploying AI-powered solutions to enhance legal workflows and governance.

Key Responsibilities

• Own the strategy and roadmap for Legal's AI transformation, prioritizing opportunities and making informed build vs. buy decisions
• Design and deploy AI-powered workflows with built-in error handling and governance, partnering with IT for integration
• Train legal staff on AI-assisted tools and maintain documentation for scalable processes and workflows

Required Qualifications

• 8+ years in a technical, operations, or engineering-adjacent role with experience in automation and AI solutions
• Hands-on experience with API integration and middleware, including REST APIs and error handling
• Proficiency in scripting or automation, such as Python or SQL, for building integrations and backend services
• Experience with governance and risk frameworks for AI or automation systems, including audit logging and data classification
• Strong systems thinking regarding reliability, security, and data integrity
