Director of Legal Operations

Job Summary

To enhance the efficiency of legal and compliance functions, the full-time remote Director of Legal Operations will design and implement operational infrastructure, manage workflows, and leverage AI-driven capabilities while serving as a strategic partner to the Chief Legal and Compliance Officer.

Key responsibilities

• Design and implement the operating model for Legal and Compliance, including workflows and service delivery frameworks
• Lead the integration of AI and automation into legal processes, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards
• Manage outside counsel and vendor relationships, tracking performance and optimizing legal spend

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required; advanced or technical/AI-related training strongly preferred
• 7+ years of relevant experience in legal operations, compliance operations, or healthcare operations
• Experience with AI or automation in operational environments preferred
• Strong project and vendor management skills
• Ability to translate legal and compliance requirements into effective systems
