Job Summary

As the primary architect of AI-powered solutions, the full-time remote Director of Legal Operations will manage the strategy, design, and deployment of innovative legal workflows, ensuring effective governance and risk management while upskilling the legal team in AI fluency.

Key responsibilities

• Own and define Legal's AI transformation strategy and multi-horizon roadmap in collaboration with leadership
• Design and deploy AI-powered workflows with built-in governance and risk management features
• Train legal staff on AI-assisted tools and document the processes for scalability and maintenance

Required qualifications

• 8+ years in a technical, operations, or engineering-adjacent role with experience in automation and AI solutions
• Hands-on experience designing and deploying AI-powered workflows in a production environment
• Strong experience with API integration, including REST APIs and middleware
• Proficiency in scripting or automation languages such as Python or SQL
• Experience implementing governance frameworks for AI or automation systems
