Director of Legal Operations

Job Summary

To lead the transformation of legal operations, the full-time remote Director of Legal Operations will architect and implement AI-powered solutions, manage strategy and governance, and enhance team capabilities within HubSpot's Legal team.

Key responsibilities

• Own the strategy and roadmap for Legal's AI transformation, prioritizing opportunities and making informed build vs. buy decisions
• Design and deploy AI-powered workflows with integrated governance and risk management, ensuring compliance and data integrity
• Train and upskill the legal team on AI-assisted tools, ensuring effective integration of human judgment and AI capabilities

Required qualifications

• 8+ years in a technical, operations, or engineering-adjacent role with experience in automation and AI solutions
• Hands-on experience designing and deploying AI-powered workflows in a production environment
• Strong experience with API integration, middleware, and scripting for automation
• Proven ability to translate operational requirements into reliable technical systems
• Experience implementing governance and risk frameworks for AI or automation systems
