Job Summary

As the Head of Legal Operations & Innovation, the full-time remote Director of Legal Operations will architect and implement AI-powered solutions within the Legal team, focusing on strategy, workflow automation, and governance to enhance operational efficiency and effectiveness.

Key responsibilities:

• Own and define the AI transformation strategy and roadmap for the Legal team, prioritizing opportunities and making informed decisions on tool development
• Design and deploy AI-powered workflows, ensuring robust error handling, audit trails, and compliance with governance standards
• Train and upskill the legal team on AI-assisted tools and workflows, fostering collaboration between human judgment and AI capabilities

Required qualifications:

• 8+ years in a technical, operations, or engineering-adjacent role with experience in automation and AI solutions
• Hands-on experience in designing and deploying AI-powered workflows in a production environment
• Strong knowledge of API integration and middleware, including REST APIs and JSON
• Experience with scripting or automation using languages like Python or SQL
• Demonstrated ability to implement governance and risk frameworks for AI or automation systems
