Director of Legal Operations

Job Summary

Serving as the primary architect of AI-powered solutions, the full-time remote Director of Legal Operations will manage the strategy and implementation of legal workflows, focusing on automation, governance, and team upskilling to enhance operational efficiency within HubSpot's Legal team.

Key responsibilities

• Define and drive the AI transformation strategy and roadmap for Legal operations in collaboration with leadership
• Design and deploy AI-powered workflows, ensuring proper governance and risk management for all automation initiatives
• Train legal staff on AI-assisted tools and maintain documentation for scalable processes

Required qualifications

• 8+ years in a technical, operations, or engineering-adjacent role with experience in automation and AI solutions
• Hands-on experience designing and deploying AI-powered workflows in a production environment
• Strong knowledge of API integration and middleware, including REST APIs and JSON
• Experience with scripting or automation languages such as Python or SQL
• Demonstrated ability to implement governance frameworks for AI or automation systems
