Director of Lending Product Management

Job Summary

Leading the lending efforts for Toast's Embedded Finance team, the full-time remote Director of Lending Product Management will scale Toast Capital and develop new lending opportunities while collaborating with cross-functional teams to create innovative financial products for restaurant operators.

Key responsibilities

• Own and evolve the product vision, strategy, and roadmap for Toast's lending portfolio, focusing on growth and new embedded lending experiences
• Identify and prioritize new lending opportunities that support restaurant operators in managing their financial needs
• Lead product teams through scaling and incubation, enhancing existing products and validating new concepts through experimentation

Required qualifications

• 12+ years of product management experience, including leading product teams
• Deep experience in fintech, embedded finance, lending, or other regulated financial services
• Proven track record of scaling product lines and identifying new product opportunities
• Strong analytical and commercial orientation, leveraging data to inform product decisions
• Experience working with cross-functional teams across various domains such as risk, compliance, and engineering
