Director of Library Partnerships

Job Summary

Providing strategic and operational leadership, the full-time Director of Library Partnerships will manage the Research Library Partnership program, ensuring alignment and high-quality delivery of activities while working remotely or in a hybrid environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and coordinate the overall RLP program, ensuring alignment and timely delivery of activities across multiple focus areas
• Oversee operational planning and execution of RLP activities, managing logistics for events and ensuring effective program delivery
• Support and guide a small team of program staff, facilitating collaboration and prioritizing work across the portfolio

Required Qualifications

• 10+ years of experience leading complex programs or membership-based initiatives, preferably in a library environment
• A bachelor's degree is required; an MLIS or relevant advanced degree is preferred
• Demonstrated ability to manage complex programs and deliver results on time and within budget
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with a collaborative approach to relationship building
• Familiarity with major issues and trends affecting libraries, including collaboration and resource sharing
