Director of Life Claims

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Director, Claims-LIfe and Annuities.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee all aspects of the Claims function, ensuring operational compliance with state and industry regulations
• Develop and present operational plans balancing workload management, staff development, and process optimization goals
• Provide technical leadership on complex claims and ensure timely processing of unresponsive claims under regulatory guidelines

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree
• 8+ years of life, annuity, and/or disability claims experience with expertise in contestable and accelerated benefit claims
• 3+ years of experience leading teams in a claims environment
• Experience managing relationships with external partners or TPAs
• LOMA designations and/or formal process improvement training preferred
