Director of Logistics
Job Summary
To support a growing logistics operation, the full-time salaried Director of Logistics will lead the strategy and execution of transportation and logistics across a multi-location distribution network, focusing on freight management, carrier negotiations, and cost optimization.
Key responsibilities
- Develop and execute logistics and transportation strategy across the distribution network
- Analyze freight spend and carrier performance to identify opportunities for improvement
- Lead negotiations and performance management with strategic transportation partners
Required qualifications
- 6+ years of progressive logistics, transportation, or supply chain experience
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, or a related field
- Strong knowledge of LTL and parcel transportation and carrier management
- Demonstrated experience managing transportation spend and negotiating agreements
- Familiarity with fleet management, telematics, and export logistics
