Director of Logistics Procurement

Job Summary

Leading the strategic sourcing and procurement of logistics services across North America, the full-time salaried Director of Logistics Procurement will manage over $110M in annual logistics spend, develop sourcing strategies, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to support manufacturing operations in the U.S. and Canada.

Key responsibilities

• Lead procurement activities for logistics solutions supporting 13 manufacturing plants across North America
• Develop and execute sourcing and category strategies while managing logistics contracts and negotiations
• Foster team development and organizational capability through coaching and mentorship of logistics procurement professionals

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in supply chain, logistics, business, finance, engineering, or a related field
• 15+ years of experience in logistics, transportation procurement, or strategic sourcing
• Demonstrated experience managing large-scale logistics spend in a manufacturing or industrial environment
• Strong knowledge of multimodal transportation markets and logistics operations
• Proven leadership experience managing and developing teams
