Director of Loss Mitigation

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Director of Loss Mitigation.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and manage a multidisciplinary loss mitigation team for remediation, repair, and disaster response
• Oversee diagnosis and resolution of underperforming solar systems while ensuring compliance with requirements
• Manage the transition and completion of solar installations when original installers fail to perform

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management, Business, or a related field; advanced degree preferred
• 8-12 years of experience in solar operations, asset management, or loss mitigation
• 5+ years of people management experience, including leading large operational teams
• Deep understanding of residential solar systems and installation practices
• Strong financial acumen with experience managing budgets and evaluating cost-benefit tradeoffs
