Job Summary

Leading a multidisciplinary team, the full-time salaried Director of Loss Mitigation will execute strategies to protect residential solar assets, overseeing system remediation, natural disaster response, and installer transitions while based in Irvine, CA, Houston, TX, San Francisco, CA, or remotely.

Key responsibilities
  • Lead and manage a loss mitigation team focused on remediation, repairs, and disaster response
  • Oversee the diagnosis and resolution of underperforming solar systems, ensuring compliance with contractual and regulatory standards
  • Coordinate disaster response efforts and manage the completion of solar installations when original installers fail to perform
Required qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management, Business, or a related field; advanced degree preferred
  • 8-12 years of experience in solar operations, asset management, or loss mitigation
  • 5+ years of experience in people management, including leading large operational teams
  • Deep understanding of residential solar systems and operational best practices
  • Strong financial acumen with experience in budget management and cost-benefit analysis
