Director of Machine Learning

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Director of Machine Learning to lead their machine learning strategy and computer vision organization.

Key Responsibilities

• Define and own the ML strategy and technical roadmap aligned with product and business objectives
• Lead and grow the Machine Learning and FPT teams, fostering a culture of rigor and production-quality delivery
• Drive improvements to core computer vision models used across drone and MHE Vision products

Required Qualifications

• 10+ years of experience building and scaling production ML or computer vision systems
• 5+ years of experience managing and growing ML engineering teams
• Deep expertise in computer vision, including object detection, image segmentation, and OCR
• Strong proficiency in Python and PyTorch (or TensorFlow) with a track record of shipping ML models to production
• MS or PhD in Computer Science, Machine Learning, or a related field, or strong industry experience in lieu of an advanced degree
