Director of Major Gifts

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Director of Major Gifts to lead high-net-worth and institutional engagement for fundraising efforts.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage and grow a portfolio of 50-100 qualified prospects and donors capable of giving $50k-$1M+ annually
• Execute high-touch cultivation and solicitation strategies, representing the organization in donor conversations
• Translate complex technical challenges into compelling philanthropic narratives for high-net-worth individuals and institutions

Required Qualifications

• 8+ years of frontline fundraising experience with a proven track record of closing six-figure+ gifts
• Ability to work autonomously and independently without extensive support staff
• Understanding of digital privacy and the importance of a non-profit model in the technology sector
• Strong writing and speaking skills to convey complex ideas in an accessible manner
• Proficiency with financial basics and donor management systems
